Oh, I am so not surprised...

Well. It seems as if W. has quit before they could fire him. I knew something was up when he was crossed off of the schedule, so I guess that's one more (or less) thing to wonder about. Kind of figured. Two weeks into his start, and I was annoyed at him. Reminded me of Michelle, only male. Oh, well. I suppose that's a good thing he's gone, since we're 18% over in payroll right now, with only 89% of goal. Heh.

At any rate, I went through the trouble of registering yesterday. Only taking orchestra and lessons at UNR. Taking biology and orchestra at TMCC, since it's marginally cheaper up there. The suckiest thing is that biology is in the morning, so there goes sleeping in. Three days a week, but only 4 Fridays for lab, so I can still hope to make it to work sans Night of the Living Dead. Jen saw a nifty CSI class, and I would take it, but it's Tuesday and Thursday from 11 to 1, so Thursdays would be hell, what with working and orchestra. Might take it next semester, though. And, for those of you desperate for a diversity course, it seems that taking dog obedience class at TMCC will qualify. No, I'm for real. So, I can still say that I am a real student without feeling guilty. Only seven credits, but then I don't plan on graduating any time soon, and I can at least write off the tuition and books. Oy, must remember to go get the bio book before Monday.

Didn't do a lot yesterday. Went home, took a walk with Mom, during which she managed to freak me out several times. Woman is certifiable, I tell you. Walking past the little farm and the chicken coop, she turned to me and remarked that that chicken would look absolutely lovely over polenta. Then she took great joy in running at the coots in the pond. Why oh why can't I have normal weird parents like everyone else?

Anyway, went home, slept a while, nearly overslept in fact. Got to work to find that even though I left them with nothing in the morning, they still hadn't managed to do any of the 3500 boklets due this morning, in addition to lots of I. books and two legal jobs. Man, this place never ceases to amaze me. And it'll only get worse with S. resigning as A.M.P. Not that I blame her, but I don't ever feel confident passing off to S.W. You'd think someone at corporate would notice the rate of turnover in the dayshift P.C. position.

Argh. Breakfast today, then prolly a walk and sleep. Must make a schedule for parents, else they will wear out my answering machine. And this semester I will make time every day to practice, damn it! As well as study. @_@ As well as sleep. As well as...

Four months and counting until summer break...

Umm... I think you're confused...
Uh, Theresa, I hate to tell you this, but I think you've forgotten something. Who is this "everybody else" that you speak of who have normal parents? You've met my parents, so it's definitely not me, and having heard about Rue's parents I doubt that it's them either... In fact I don't think I've met a single person in my entire life who has normal parents.
