Joiner King release...

It seems that in my effort to not spoil myself for The Joiner King, I competely missed the fact that it comes out Tuseday. Not, as I had previously thought, in September. Yesterday I had wondered how it could be that people were getting their hands on the plot summary this soon. Well, duh.

Now I have to call in sick Tuesday night so as to read the book. Sorry,

ruebert, but I have my priorities. ;)

In work-related news, so totally fucked tonight. Grrr....

That's actually what I kind of remembered...but it didn't make sense because that is a very lame title.

Well, the covers go back to the 80's book in terms of style, so I don't really like them. But then, I hardly ever like anything except for the Japanese book covers. From the back cover summary, it sounds like it could be either really good or bad bad. I'm not that worried, because this is the guy who gave us Star by Star, but I'm honestly not expecting great things from a paperback, either.

Can't be, it's the first in the series, and most of the main characters are scheduled to appear in the later books.

All bets are off on the minor characters. Maybe this time he'll actually get to kill Raynar for real. Or Jag. He could kill Jag. I wouldn't mind.

I wish it was going to be a tome. I like Troy Denning. Alas, no, it it merely a paperback.

Bummer...I kind of enjoyed the length too...it was certainly more satisfying.

I should reread Star By Star.
