C'mon, ya ugly muggers!!!

Oh, I had forgetten how much terrifying fun could be had driving Mom's truck. Once I got over the feeling of impending disaster, it was just great barrelling up Virginia street in that thing. Curb? What curb? And the radio works, so I found the hard-rock station and just ignored the squishing coming from under my tires. Pedestrian? What pedestrian? Hopefully, I shall get my regular mode of transportation back today, and everyone pray that it's the hose leaking rather than the radiator.

Hmmm, class today, then puttering around until time to return truck to Mom, then work tonight in which Da. might or might not show up, then home somehow to sleep, then orchestra, then work, then... Oh, yes, breakfast. Absolutely scintillating, is it not? Sunday will be fun, though. Reno Phil and a Van Cliburn pianist.

Heavily irked that the opera cancelled Madam Butterfly. Yup, because they weren't exactly broke, but it would cost too much. How they can be broke is beyond me, seeing as how they charge twice as much as the phil, but what really irks me is that they're asking people to donate their tickets instead of get a refund. Those tickets were expensive, darn it! Not to mention that Butterfly was supposed to be the highlight of the season. Grrr...
