You'd think that since I work ten hour shifts, I'd be able to leave on time, wouldn't you?
Had to stay and verbally repeat, word for word, what I'd already written down three times before Stacey was reassured enough to let me clock out. Grrr.

Talked to Mom this morning. I called her to see if she wanted to come in early and eat breakfast with me. Good thing I did. Apparently, Dad has a kidney infection and spent four hours in the emergency room last night. They finally got home at four this morning. She says he's not feeling very good, but she couldn't convince him to stay home. So, he's going in to work.
I'm equally mad at Mom for not calling me right away and at Dad for being so darn stubborn. I'd rather be mad than worried, though. Dad is going to have to slow down, or he's going to end up in the hospital again. Last time it was for pnemonia. God only know what it'll be next time.

And to top off my allready not-so-great morning, Grandma looked horrible yesterday when I went to visit her. She kept saying she was dizzy, but she wouldn't let me take her to the doctor, so now I get to worry about whether or not I should have insisted.

Think I'm going home now. Daylight makes me tired.
