CBS must be getting desperate...

Found this in the news...

Are you a convicted felon, or do you know one? "Danger Island" (www.dangerisland.tv) says that it will place 12 convicted felons on a deserted island and have them compete for a prize of $1,000,000. But the winning felon won't keep the money. Instead, it will go to the felon's most recent victim.

Any thoughts?

Does it depends on the crime?
So, any crime done is fine, even petty theives? I can predict there will be more crimes done now just to get on the show!! Has Reality TV taken charge of our lives??

And another point. What felon is going to want to win the money, anyway? How many of them are going to want their victim to get a million bucks? So what will their motivation be towards winning?

Well, the people will feel sorry for what they have done and want to give back to public. Some of them could be proud of what they have done, and what popularity status. What do you have to say about that?

So the contestents better be either so reformed that they want their victims to become millionares, or so hardened that they only want more noteriety. My guess is that it'll only be the second type that'll even bother to apply, in which case, it makes a mockery of the entire justice system and overrides the needs of the victim, who may or may not want the noteriety.
